Life. Are we present in the moment or thinking of our next errand or task? Are you in the moment of this summer day? Are you observing, smelling the sweet air, hearing the birds sing, lawn mowers humming - are you even outside?
Life keeps going by faster, as least for me. Weeks seem like days, months seem like weeks and my years just get all jumbled. The speed of technology does not seem to help this situation, and I always feel like Im behind it. Information. There is just too much of it. And we seem to get caught up in the mealiness information while the important things around us are unobserved.
So we hope this summer you step away from your computer and enjoy the outdoors. Enjoy the sweet air, the butterflies, the uniqueness of all the flowers GOD has created, lighting bugs, stars and the shape of the current moon. Enjoy your family, friends and furry pets!
